After a long two weeks of driving all over the East Coast attending baseball games and writing up diaries about the experience, The Commish is going to take a much needed break. My apologies for the lack of a new column this week, after two monster News & Notes in a row, I'm a little drained creatively. If anyone would like to write something up and send it to me, I'll be happy to post it up in this space as soon as I get it! Either way, the regular News & Notes column will return next week when I'm sure we'll have plenty of last minute trading deadline deals to talk about as well as other less important, but probably much funnier, trivialities to discuss!

Don't forget, our league's first trading deadline is July 31st, just like the real league's. However, keeping in line with our usual transaction deadline, I'll accept trades up until the following Monday, August 5th. After that, we've got another month of trading time but the "three places in the standings" rule applies. Anyone needing a refresher on the Full Monty league trading rules, click here to review them.

Again, sorry for the lack of a column this week, I'll start work on next week's "Top 10 Things That Won't Happen During Labor Negotiations" list tomorrow night. 'til next week...
