Due to the influx of September Roster Expansion picks that had to be processed and the fact that he's worked the entire weekend on getting the fantasy football website up and running, The Commish is taking a break this week and will not be writing a News & Notes column. Never fear, he's not on strike! He promises to return next week to discuss such topics as the Oakland A's winning streak, the Mets sinking ever lower with their home losing streak. Of course, he'll also have some comments on the latest labor agreement and the 11th hour avoidance of a strike. Oh, and remind him to tell you a story about spending a rainy day at the ballpark with Trader Neil. Especially the part about the "orange cone"! 'til next week...
